A buddy has one of these on the way that we would like to load 150- 165 gr. bullets to around 2800 fps for AL whitetail and reserve the extra horsepower for larger critters further west. Anybody got loads you like?

Not for the 150-165s, but for 180s, yes. I dont suggest using lighter than 180s for the magnums, fwiw. Jay

4895 is usually a consistent performer for slightly reduced loads. That's what I would try first if I were interested.
