Did some testing with my .33 G&A here are my results. 101.0gr H1000, 225gr TSX, 3020fps, .65" group. 102.0gr H1000, 225gr TSX, 3040fps, 2.5" group. 94.0gr IMR 7828, 225gr TSX, 3060fps, .5" group. 94.0gr IMR 7828, 230gr Failsafe, 3070fps, .5". This gun is shooting very well, and I am a little confused because these are above max loads for the .338RUM and the G&A case is a little longer than the RUM, but I am not getting the velocities that RUM data shows for these powders. Not that I need the extra velocity, but it just doesn't make sense. Any opinions? Thanks

From my calculations the 7828 is perfoming just as it should. Depending on the capacity difference and the individual rifle characteristics the H1000 could be performing as exspected. roger Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..
