Ive got 3 t3's all running lightweights. I am very happy with them, some people dont like the look but they are functional and I think they look fine. Im not a traditionalist though. Reason I went to them was I have a 338WM that had factory mounts that WOULD NOT hold the scope, I did some research and ended up with talleys. Now I dont even try to get by with the factory mounts, I go straight to what I know works.

Thanks for the pic a and the comments. I talked with Talley and it was the lack of recoil shoulder that prevents them from making just a ring for the rifle. My brother has this rifle and has used the lightweights on other rifles but wanted to see if he could see what they looked like first on the T3. Thanks again,

Cheers,

_Baxter

I have talley rings on my T3 Lite Stainless 270 Win and have had no problems with them. I think I have the medium rings.

I currently have a 3x9 40mm Burris ballisic plex scope on it and have banged the whole setup into trees, dropped it a few times and slide down a snow covered hill with it on my back. The the scope clears the rifle with plenty of room. I have not had to re-zero in over 3 or so years (I'll have to this year though for the barnes tsx slugs - I had been using noslers and fusions).

I have taken a few pigs with it (w/Mr Kyler) and a few deer too. The setup is pretty nice, though I'm going to switch to a leupold sometime soon.

I can send you a picture of the rifle, just pm me and I'll send it to you.
