Probably....but personally, I'd want to know more about it....like identifying marks such as "Made in Belguim.....or fabrique nationale....or other data about it....

This I can attest to....all M-98 actions are not created equal.

Wow, I just had a .338/06 built on a husky action. They are wonderful actions, the only thing I don't like is the bolt release, but I'll live with it because everything else is perfect. I think it might be the best 98 Mauser type action. I put an old favorite Weaver K-4 with a post and cross hair, what's the reticle in yours?

I was thinking more along the lines of a whitetail hunt in the big woods of Northern Wisconsin.
