I could save some money by just glass bedding But i kind of like the has precision stocks. It throws one about 2 inches off , but most rounds are around an inch. I am going to try the accubond and see if it shoots any better. ...tj3006

This is just a personal thing with me but it has worked for about sixty years for me. Over the years I have owned several different rifle types, and chambered for many different cartridges. What I have always done is load the heavy bullet for a chambering and shoot everything with that one bullet weight. I have three 7mm mags a Ruger No1 varmint rifle, and Rem 700 that belonged to my father, and a 98 Mauser with a Duglas medium barrel. I use the 160 gr Nosler Partition for everything from white tail to ELK. In all my rifles I never have to learn a different trajectory for that rifle because it never changes. Works for me!............. ....Mac >>>===(x)===> MacD37, ...and DUGABOY1 DRSS Charter member "If I die today, I've had a life well spent, for I've been to see the Elephant, and smelled the smoke of Africa!"~ME 1982 Hands of Old Elmer Keith

That is sound wisdom, My approach is not far from yours. I would call a 160 a medium weight bullet. I like 165s in the 30,06 150s in the .308 However i was hoping for a flat enough load that trajectory out to 300 yards was flat enough to forget trajectory. ...tj3006
