I've been going through the same debate. I don't have nearly the same amount of guns, however I do have some overlap and a duplicate.

The duplicates are a Rem 700 30-06, which is the gun my dad gave me when I started hunting. I hadn't used it much in the last 8 years, but have recently developed a yearning to use it and took it to Africa with me last month. It is now becoming my favorite rifle. The other 30-06 is a Mod 1909 Argentinean Mauser. I originally bought this rifle with the intention of turning it into a 338-06. However, it has done nothing but collect dust since I bought it. Shortly it will be in the classifides, along with a Win. 70 300H&H.

I bought the 300H&H with the intention of taking it to Africa, but the 30-06 won out and I still haven't shot the 300H&H.

I also have a Sako 7mm rem mag that I really like. Anything it will do the '06 will do, but I couldn't part with either.

On the line between small bore and medium bore I have a 25-06 that is my favorite rifle to shoot. Accurate, light and a great deer and antelope rifle.

For varmints I have a .243 and a AR-15. I could probably due with something smaller than a 243 for a varmint rifle, but it is a good shooting rifle.

Once I sell the 1909 30-06 and 300H&H I'll start looking for a big bore, either a 416 rem or 416 rigby. I would still like to find a 338-06, but I'll put that off for a while.
