| I've had pretty good results from 145 gr. Grand Slams in my 7mm-08 on mule deer and elk. |

| lal are you referring to Grand Slams or GS Customs? If the latter, then Gerard should be able to help you. Peter.

| I think you are talking gs customs. If so they are great killers. I have not shot in my 7x57 yet but 375 and 404 both were awesome.I don't have the 130hv's but the 120's are your bullets .284 or .285 |

| I load the 120gn GS Custom HP's to 3235fps with BL-C2 and Fed 215's in my 25in bbl 7x57 with excellent accuracy. The GS was the easiest bullet I have ever worked with to find a load for and while a goat isn't the hardiest animal to try them on I did take 5 with them last week out to 253yds for first animal trials. Will take them on a new deer block when the permit comes in soon. Von Gruff. |

| Von Gruff, glad to see another NZ shooter using the GS Customs. I was using the 120gr also in my .280 Remington Mountain Rifle with excellent results, getting 3250 (22 inch barrel) using Winchester 760. Then when I had my .270 I used the 110gr at 3450fps. I'm currently thinking about a custom 7mm WSM with either the 120 or 116's. Cheers, Michael.

| If you go with the new 116 it has a BC increase from 390 for the 120 up to 468 for the 116 going by Martins new GS website and would be of advantage in a 7mm wsm. The 120 offers all that I could use in my 7x57. Got my permit notification yesterday and will have the 28-29 May so hope to trial them on a big Red. Hopefully still dry weather but wallowing could give the bullet a bit of mud to get through. Von Gruff. |
