Who makes the best 300 H&H brass and where can I get some? I found some Winchester brass in 300 H&H but haven't reloaded Winchester brass. Can anyone comment on the quality? Also how is the quality of "Quality Cartridge" brass? Any help appreciated.

IF you found some .300 H&H brass, you'd better buy it! It's becoming harder to find!

Winchester brass is as good as anybody's brass.

I see Remington makes ,300 H&H brass also-and theirs is about $5.00/100 LESS than Winchester's. I suggest you consult
http://www.huntingtons.com/cases.html

to see who makes what when it comes to brass cartridge cases!

bulldog: if you don't want it, let me know where it's being sold and I'll buy it. FYI, there's none to be found. Winchester's stopped making it on a regular basis and heaven knows when they will make another run. Remington's discontinued it permanently. Winchester makes pretty good brass generally, although with the H&H I've encountered more split necks than in any other caliber. jorge

Called Huntingtons. They are out and don't know when they will have more.

What about Quality Cartridge? Is their brass any good?

When I last ordered from Sinclair Intl. they told me that Win was supposedly making a run sometime this summer to late this year. I'm not holding my breath though and I'm also getting down to a preciously dwindling supply. I inquired with Nosler and they may consider making it in the future. Here's the thread as the more people whom request H&H brass the more likely they'll seriously consider it.

Oh yeah, you can get it from Horneber, but... it will run you about $225/100 without shipping! Eeker

Freinds-

Mast Technologies used to make .300 H&H brass. I have a hundred rounds from them. I think it ran $90 to $100 per hundred.

Get some Imperial reloading lube and try resizing some 375H&H brass. Never know it could work.

I would rather just buy cases with correct markings in the first place but thanks for the info.

I've got some ww that is 4-5 years old. I tried fireforming it to Weatherby .300 last weekend and lost a little over 50%. I didn't anneal the shoulder, may try that or just go buy Weatherby by Rem.

Bought 4-boxes of Winchester topped with Failsafe bullets. It was not cheap but it is 300 H&H. I did scratch up 50-new cases this summer and had them loaded by a friend. I would like to find at least 50-more but as you know they are very hard to find.

I clicked on the huntington's link posted above and found WW for $31 per 20, and Rem at $56 per hundred...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Guess I need to stock up, the last I bought was from Midway and ran me $35 per hundred...does that make me old, or what?
