Anybody see any problems with this conversion? Rechamber, open up bolt a little, adjust feed rails. Am I missing anything? What about barrel twist rate?

Carcano, I would probably do this on a full-stock CZ 550 Medium.

Full-stock with short barrel?

You need a least a 24" length barrel to get full use of the big case. With a short barrel you get nothing but a horrendous blast.

Danny Pedersen did this conversion for me, twice. Once on a CZ in 9.3x62 and again on a Pre64 M70. The Winchester was a rebore/rechamber. I'm not sure if he even had to alter the rails or bolt face. They feed slick and are quite accurate.

IMO not a problem but will not get the benefit of the 64s velocity and receive great muzzle blast.
