Hey, I saw this rifle from a company called American Gun Company. They said it is a modern version of the 96 Mauser and is completely machined! They had two versions, a push feed and a prototype controlled round feed action there at the Shot Show. The only one that they had in a stock was the push feed, it was very smooth. The controlled round feed was just in a prototype state so not a complete action. The machining looked good but they said that they weren't releasing it just yet until they had a complete working prototype done. As the guy put it, "we're not going to go from design to production as we want to make sure everything is absolutely perfect before we put it out". Price wise they said that a complete rifle would run somewhere around $800-$1000. Looks like it would be a great rifle for a custom job. Their website is americangunllc.com Just my two cents.
