On the Cross Canyon Arms hunting show "Crossing Canyons" their ad for the 300 tejas stated that with a 150 grain bullet you get 4,000 ft/sec muzzle velocity and with a 230 grain bullet you get 3,100 at the muzzle. I really wonder about that. Is that with a 28 inch or more barrel?

Ballistically that would make it a 300-378 Weatherby. "though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression." ---Thomas Jefferson

I believe they use a 26" barrel and a 60 degree shoulder to get the velocity that high.
