Have a Remington in the safe collecting dust awaiting a winter project. Would like to use this rifle with 220 grain Partitions.

Are the stock barrels and there rate of twist good canditates for this bullet?

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I just recently began testing 220 partitions in my 300 RUMs.
So far good accuracy and speeds with them using H870. With a 26" barrel around 3100 cronoed.

Please keep this post updated!!! I've had great luck with 200gr Accubonds and RL25 in my factory barreled 330RUM. Will be trying 208gr A-Max next.

I'm very interested to see what you get with the 220Partityion.

In my .300 RSAUM, 1-10 twist using R-19, 200 grain Partions give a nice little five shot hole @ 100 yards. Just as good as Berger 200's. This is the only time I have had NPT's shoot that well.

That 220 Partiton has worked great for me in the 300 Win Mag, so I would think it should be great in the RSAUM too.
