Does anyone make quality bases and rings out of stainless steel? I have really looked and can not find any. If stainlees is not an option can you suggest some good name brands and where I can order online.

Thanks,
ED

Sako now makes Optilock's to fit Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 bases that are stainless. Optilocks are excellent rings, I use them on all my Sako's. They are not however cheap.
The other first choice in rings is Talley. They don't make stainless but if you want a stainless look you might try bead blasting a pair of their superb Ultralight's.
What rifle/scope combination are you trying to put together?.......................DJ

almost all the mfrs of bases and rings make "stainless" models...they really aren't stainless but referred to as
silver" or "nickel" finshed.

Most are available in "silver" gloss or matte to match most scopes.
here's a set of rings from Leupold

DJ, I got a Nesika short action and I am thinking of putting on a nikon titanium scope. I have not bought the scope yet and will be one of my future questions.

I did email Talley and hope to get response.

Price on everything is high now days Frowner, but on another note I got wifes support on project

Thanks,
ED
