Have any of you used this bullet on game. It seems to shoot really well in my Sauer and I would be using it on planes game.

KabluewyThey shoot well in my Mauser too, and work on brown bear, so I don't see why they wouldn't be equally effective in Africa, as they are in Alaska.

bwanamrmI've used them for nilgai antelope in south Texas and they worked very well. I would not have a problem using them in Africa. If I can find a link to my thread I will post it here.
On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

lawndartBad idea for Africa.
The mega is a traditional cup and core bullet with a gilding metal jacket.
They will do fine through the ribs, but I would not count on them to go through shoulders, especially on larger anmals.
