Now that they have been out for a while, how are you liking your SPS? Are you satisfied with the reliability, quality, accuracy, operation, etc? Are there things you have found that you especially do/don't like about it? ============================== "I'd love to be the one to disappoint you when I don't fall down" --Fred Durst

There's been some discussion of this offering on the boards. A search on SPS should turn up a few posts. I currently don't have one, but have my eye out for an SS SPS in .25-06. To my way of thinking, this model is a pretty good bang for the buck, especially in the blued configuration. Even in SS, I think the price is decent.

I have a sps stainless in 300 mag with a leupold VX-II 4-12x40. Shot it for the first time over the weekend. It functioned great, and shot really nice groups. All but one group was .75" or smaller at 100 yards, and the bigger one was still only 1.25" and I pulled it. The R3 recoil pad really helps out with the recoil on the 300. I really like the rifle. It is the perfect weight (light enough to carry a long time but not so light that it kicks the crap out of you). I would definately suggest it to anyone. Also, it was only $500 after taxes and everything.

My son loves his. Its a great shooter and very well balanced. For a accurate stainless rifle for $489 out the door it can't be beat. I wished they made them in Left handed. Just wished the triggers didnt freeze up. My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
