I took it to the range with a variaty of loads today. And I have a great load already. None of the 5 loads I tried was bad, and I am afraid by the time I was done shooting 50 rounds I was not doing the rifle justice. I am not recoil sensitive normaly , but I have been shooting Roberts, Roberts & more Roberts latly. The Browning has simply a great trigger. My smith told me they were sued by Winchester over it. I had a hard time contoling it , especially since I was fire forming with another rifle and switching between the 2 triggers was not easy. But with a 165 grain Hornady flat base over 60.5 grains of RL-19 a 1.2 a clover of .30 and 2 rounds into a half inch. i saved the last round to adjut the seating die with. Load should be over 2900 with my 22 inch tube. I want another safari now. in say 7 mag ? ...tj3006 freedom1st

Browning and Winchester are owned by the same company. I would like to hear your 'smith's story.

Kind of ironic, The browning safari was built By FN for browning. An at a later date Browning switched prodution from belgium to japan and before you know it , FN buys browning outright. FN know how to make Guns all kinds of guns. And seemingly make a profit doing it ! ...tj3006 freedom1st
