I have built several .284 rifles and all have shot well until the last. Same barrel maker and specs, same reamer. I load ammo and the gun shoots sub.5 moa. The customer loads and the rifle shoots 1.5 moa. We are using the same brass, same dies and same components. We have just bought two new sets of dies(one redding the other Hornady)and will experiment with loads this week. The rifle has been trued and shot extremely well with the prior barrel. The new .284 has been checked and is concentric and co-axilially aligned. good headspacing, good throat, good bore, and good crown. The action is pillar bedded, the lug is glassed in and the screws are torqued. The scope, rings, and bases all have proven themselves before. Any Ideas Longshot

"I load ammo and the gun shoots sub.5 moa. The customer loads and the rifle shoots 1.5 moa." Let him shoot your loads and see if he shoots .5moa or 1.5moa! I can't decide if I shoot to load, or load to shoot! The line between the two is very thin!

maybe he just can't shoot,or his press is crooked or he don't know how to set up his dies properly.
