Just purchased new pump Browning BPR in 300 WM caliber to replace Marlin 45/70 for use on sambar deer in Victorian high country. These deer can grow up to 700lbs. Has anyone had any experience with these rifles ? When i use up the factory ammo (Rem 180 gr Corelokt) i intend to load 180 gr Nosler Partitions with approx 75.5 gr of RL22. Any other suggestions ?

I've been shooting factory loads in my BLR in 300 Win Mag, tried several 180 gr. loads and a couple of 150's. I settled today on the Hornady 165 gr. SST as a deer load. After I take it hunting in Dec. I'll start working on loads useing that bullet. Good Luck,
