| I shoot them out of a XP100 350 remington mag. Very Accurate got them loaded down to around 35 rem levels. Have to otherwise I cannot shoot the damn thing more than twice. Yet to try them on deer not for lack of trying. See no reason that they would not work fine on deer even at full 350 velocities. Would probable be a good idea to keep them off heavy bone as I think they would come apart. For heart lung shots they should work just fine. |

| They are meant to open at much lower velocities than that full length magnum rifle barrel of yours will generate. I'm sure you can kill deer with them, but you will have a bunch of bloodshot meat if you shoot a deer at close range. I still have a box of them on my shelf for my 35 Rem Contender handgun. They shoot accurately out of my barrel, but I have not shot a deer with them. They are pretty hard to find these days. Maybe you could trade them off for a different bullet? I see them pop up in the specialty pistols forum classifieds now and again.

| To hammer moose & bears where they stand-push the Sierra 225 SBT's over 58-61 gr of IMR 4895 & don't look back. The Hornady 180 SSP bullets don't shoot well at 350 RM velocities. |
