This is the main reason the RF's over .22 cal. are all gone! Like the .44 Henry!

In the 1930s there was a fair amount of discussion in the American Rifleman about a high velocity .25 Stevens. I don't recall if any test ammo was ever made up or any rifles were built. I am too lazy to go look in my old magazines.
