Dr. Smith, After the end of the first world war, and imposition of the so called, Versailles "treaty", much of the Mauser rifle making machinery was shipped to other countries. I am aware of Czechoslovakia, and FN in Belgium. Are you aware of any other countries that received similar victor's spoils? Thank you for your help in this matter. | ||

Lawndart As far as I know tooling was sold to Brno and FN only. Copies were made in China (rifles and broomhandle pistols) but not on Mauser tooling. | |||
