My Savage loves 88 gr Retumbo under a 285 ELD seated to an OAL of 3.780 (2.965 to the ogive, IIRC). Fed 215 primer. Nosler brass.

I have a friend that owns one, manufactured several years ago. It has a factory installed, aftermarket stock (can’t remember the brand). Don’t know his load data, but can fairly regularly put 3 out of 5 on a 20” steel at a measured 1 mile. He’s gotten 4 of 5 a time or two. Nice rifle....but a little heavy for a carry gun! memtb
