I really like the looks of that CZ 550FS and may buy one for the sake of having one of them. But I am a southpaw. So anyway I see that Tikka lists the 9.3x62 in a left-hand model. Does anyone know if they import these or are they European market only? Thanks, Sean

Sako's in 9.3x62 have found their way into the US, usually as dealer samples. It was easier during the Stoeger days. I do have a couple of new Sako Mannlichers NIB in 9.3, but they are obviously rare and quite expensive. I am mad at Sako for discontinuing the mannlicher series and haven't given much thought to locating their standard rifles in 9.3x62. I am working on importing full stock rifles in 9.3 from other manufactures. If you are interested in a Sako 9.3 mannlicher or a left hand 9.3, you can reach me at Stutzenrifles@aol.com ------------------ [This message has been edited by KurtC (edited 03-21-2002).]

Loneagle...About a year ago I attempted to get a Tikka S/S Whitetail in 9.3 x 62.. I was told by the present importer, Beretta, that they would only inport rifles in this caliber in lots of five...I ended up buying a CZ 550 American that I am very pleased with.. Due to the increased interest in this caliber, I'm wondering if Beretta might change thier policy..

Thanks guys, I guess I'll just have to find myself a LH rifle worth converting. Maybe a Stainless/Laminate Ruger. Sean

Zoli makes their 1900 in a left hand 9.3x62. I am working on getting one of their Stutzen Luxus models to evaluate the quality. Here is their site: http://www.zoli.it/az1900family/az1900stleft.htm ------------------
