Read your responses in the Handloading forum.

Also do a "Search" here. It's been covered before.

My 338/300 WSM with a 21"tube is about 100 slower than your basic 338 WM.

Nice neat strong package.

M70, it is a nice rig easy to shoot and has a fair bit of punch.

Mark~
Did you ever get the 185 Barnes to shoot in yours? What load, if you did?

Bob-it showed some promise at first (using H414)but it isn't quite doing what I'd like. Bruin season was upon me so I gave up and went with a 200 Noz.

I am gonna do some more work with the 185 and then I am gonna do some work with the 200 Horn, and maybe the 215 Sierra.

I'd like to get this work done in the next month so I am ready to take "FAT BASTARD" (MY 338/300 wsm) for my fall bruin trip.

If I get that 185 TS to perk I'll drop you an e-mail. I'd like it to but if it doesn't it is not gonna ruin this kids day.

Hope all is good in your camp.

Mark, I would think the 210gNP was almost made for something like the .338WSM. It's the most accurate bullet in my .338-06.

Fred-If I could gt that bullet to shoot I'd be happy as a puppy with 2 peters, unfortunately every time I've tried that bullet to date it has just puked on me and everything around. I've pretty much given up on it. I would dearly love to make it work though as I have a true love for that head.
