Scope ring suggestions for picatinny rail
My nephew picked up a Seekins Precision Havak PH3
300 PRC

I have no experience mounting something like a Swarovski scope to this rifle.

Ring suggestions please.

Cheers
Jim

I like Warne, Talley and Leupold, all are quality rings.

Seekins also has their own rings. And some of the Swaro scopes call for only 15 lbs torque on the rings if I remember correctly.

I recommend Burris Signature rings.

Not only do the nylon inserts prevent scratching the scope but they swivel until the top screws are tightened, helping to prevent the scope being bent. All scopes (old and new) should have the reticle centred beforehand for optical and mechanical reasons; if the scope is not then close to boresight when mounted, Burris's eccentric inserts can be used to get it on target without excessive clicks.

They come in the Redfield JR/Leupold STD style and Zee rings, which fit rails and are probably stronger.

No, I am not in Burris's pocket - the only scope of theirs in my possession is a broken one given me for research.
