I have a Guild Mauser made August of 1924, the 16th rifle from that shop. I found a signature under the buttplate, which looks like compressed leather.  Another  Can anyone help me identify this? If you take the image back to Photoshop and adjust both your sharpness and contrast the signature should become more easily seen. Frank | |||
