So I've started a rapport with Lapua, in the interest of them making brass for 338 Win Mag, etc. I claimed it would be a great seller.
I stated that even if they could just do a run of basic brass it would sell.
I now call upon the reloading community to please join me in persuading Lapua to manufacture belted cases, .532 head, .512 body.
The contact I have been in communication with is Janne.Bostrom@nammo.com
Please be polite but be persuasive.

Cheers
Bruce

I just got a new box of 6.5x284 Lapua brass and I've never seen such tight primer pockets. I'm using Federal LR 210M match primers and I can't get them seated with Lee hand primer. I had to seat the primers on one of my presses to utilize the extra leverage.

In 30+ years of reloading, including a lot of Lapua brass I've never had this issue.

I have a bunch of undersized Remington primers which would fix that right up. They fall out of most brass. Regards, Bill.

I have used Lapua brass in 6.5X55, 308 Win & 9.3X62 - all were great. IMHO the best brass around.

I have never had a problem with Lapua and consider it excellent brass...IMPO the best brass ever has been and will always be RWS, but to what extent!! its all very close.

Today, I use more PPU brass than any other, it lasts forever and cost half as much as any other brass and they been making brass for ions, they know how...A 100 9.3x62s, 300 Win. mag, or 30-06 usually run about $56.00/100 give or take a buck or two..

I still have 500 pieces of Lapua 300WM brass made in the early 80's, I use it for 1000yrd F-Class matches, it is great brass and lasts forever if you size it very little and anneal it correctly.
If you can get Lapua to make 300WM brass again, I will put an order in for 1000 pieces myself, and I'm positive I could get at least 20 others to order the same amount each as soon as it becomes available. I also use Norma brass for F-Class, but it doesn't hold up as well as Lapua.

Cheers.

I just pulled some year old 260 brass off my shelf to load. Really tight pockets as well. Could not use my RCBS hand primer tool. Had to use my RCBS bench primer tool.

I have a high regard for Lapua brass, but when it comes to belted, try Nosler. The quality is at least equal to Lapua.
