Hello,

I just bought an old CZ.
The ring is stippled and has CZ in a circle.
Mannlicher butter knife bolt.
Double Set trigger.
Barrel band sling.
No integrated mounts like a ZKK 600,601,602.
It has claw mount bases.
7x57
Bolt shroud almost looks like FN with safety on left side of shroud.
No stripper clip finger cut.
Short stock.
Flip up 2 leaf sight.

Maybe Model 21 F or H ?

Sorry no pics, getting claw mount rings made and fitted so smith has it.

Any ideas age and model number.
IIRC 5 or 6 number serial #.

Thanks
Nitro

If it has a charger hump without a slot, then it was made around 47-8. If it has the slot milled in the hump, then 46-7. If the left side is in German, then 42-3.

There should be a 2 digit year stamped on the left side, on the barrel and on the receiver. The serial number is usually just on the barrel.

These never had a model stamped on them, but were marketed as a 21 or 22, also 721 or 722. They came in both 20.5 and 23.5 inch barrels, as well as full and half stocks.

The front ring isn't stippled. It has fine diamonds roll marked into it. You'll need a jeweler's loupe to see them. High quality.

Sounds like a 21 / 22H to me, barrel lenght is the difference 21-rifle 23.5" vs 22- cabine 20.5". No int. mts. pre 1954?. The safety is a good give away that it is either one / other, as far as I know it's the only model(s) with that arrangement. The claw mts. were an alternative pre 54? . Value - just a guess -$750 to $1500 around here. Post some pics. when you can, I'd be interested in seeing the claw mts. --- John303.
