I was at a gunshop and looking and the new CZ no. 3 I looked at looked much the same (it was 300wsm) as my brother's MRC 270 WSM action. Both matte finish, subtle differences in finishing on extractor, but the bolt release and shroud look 100% IIRC as my brother's MRC so does anyone KNOW for a fact if it IS the same? Is the WSM perhaps the only MRC if it is? I handled long ago CZ 308's and 30-06/270 that seemed like a pure mauser (as if made in Czech) action. Are the new Centerfires produced in the US, or still overseas. Just trying to get an understanding on details. This gun's bolt had tight tolerance when drawn to rear vs the loose wobble of the early ones I seen in the past.

The CZ Model 3 was the short action MRC. CZ dropped them this year and MRC even had a real good overstock sale of the barreled actions listing them here on AR if I remember correctly. I believe the metal work on the CZs is still overseas. I'm not sure about the stock work. As usual just my $.02 Paul K
