Both Boyds and Richards Microfit list thumbhole stocks and I am sure there are others out there. Do a search...just type in rifle stocks and I am sure you will get quite a few hits...regards

For most standard US stuff, winchester, ruger and remington they have them ready to install, for about $130.00 plus shipping. In either Gray laminate or Nutmeg laminate.

You can also get one you can finish yourself, which I enjoyed doing in a Winchester Short Action for about $80.00 or so.

I have ordered about 9 of their stocks and have ordered several more for friends and nephews.
They do a good job at an unbelievably reasonable price.

Can anybody tell me where I saw a stock in the same tiger stripe pattern that was used on the uniforms of Special Forces soldiers in VN during the mid-1960s-- you know, that familiar gray-green-black pattern with no brown in it? I only saw it once and failed to bookmark the site (How stupid of me!).

You could look at Elk Ridge stocks. They are at www.reamerrentals.com or just search elk ridge rifle/gun stocks. They will bed and finish their stock for you dor an additional $275. May be worth the price if you don't want to chance screwing it up yourself.
