All the smaller boutique builders like Cooper Arms and Nosler Custom.

I wish the regular production Remington 700 SPS would be available in .280 Rem. Most options are either too expensive (Mark V, Remington Custom Shop production models) or not my style (Encores and Handis? No thanks!). The Ruger would probably be my choice, even though I'd prefer a 24" barrel as I tend to do.

+1 to that too! A CDL w/24" barrel and irons sights is just what I want too. I've not got "Alaskan" money and don't like fluted (or excessively slim) barrels at either extreme.

I looking at the other option of having an old BSA CF2 in 7x64 reamed out to 280.

Surprisingly (perhaps?), Blaser offer their R93 in .280 Rem.

Remingon, Ruger, Browning....as far as the bigger off the shelf LGS brands go.

You can always pick up a used 06, 270 or 25-06 & rebarrel. It's a great cartridge offering flat shooting of the 270 w/ 140gr bullets & hard hitting like a 06 w/ 160 & 175gr bullets.
