Nice, IMHO, no joke!
But what an auspicious day for the announcement, April Fool's Day.
Business as usual.

this pretty much says it all.

That excited one PRS shooter: “I had all this old .308 brass and .30-Cal bullets sitting around. When I heard about the 7.6 Creedmoor I said ‘Wow this is great, I can use this stuff in a Creedmoor now’. I know it will be accurate based on the name alone. That’s cool — tacticool!”

Uh, okay.
That was a pretty detailed April fool's day JOKE! Cute!

While some of the kids buy the "Creed" because of the tacticool name alone, some of us buy/build them for what they can do (for 3500+ rounds) to a target or gong at great distances...all while saving the barrel on our hotter hunting rifles.

Nothing quite like a high BC 140 grain bullet at 2900 fps...unless it's the same pill at 3150 from my 6.5 x 280 AI!

The 6.5 Creedmoor is an easy round to hate (because of all the damn tacticool hype and those flat-brimmers who "run" them)

It's hard to appreciate unless you shoot one.... really shoot one.
