Is any bore cleaner enough to clean new dies?
and afterwards how often should reloading dies be cleaned?

I never had new dies that needed cleaning. If they have preservative grease that can just be wiped off.Store in the box with rust preventative paper.Bore cleaners that contain ammonia may damage brass.Lube that accumulates can also be wiped off.The moving parts of the press should also be occasionally cleaned and relubed. Make sure that all primer dust is removed otherwise it can go BANG !

WHEN I STORE MY DIES AWAY FOR AWHILE USE SPRAY EM WITH WITH A PRODUCT CALLED POWERLUBE AN THEN WIPE OFF THE EXCESS. ANYONE HAVE STORAGE IDEAS FOR DIES? MY OLD CAST PRESS ALSO GETS A COAT OF POWERLUBE.
