I hope it is OK to put this Topic here.

You folks Who like this oldie but goodie little round.

What current Factory rifle would you like to see offered in it?

Mine would be the Browning A-bolt Stalker.

Ruger should re-release the 77RSI in that cartridge.

The 7 x 57 is apparently available in the CZ-550 line of rifles and in the Ruger 77. A Rem 700 Classic re-issue would be nice, as would the newer claw-extractor Win M-70. While they're at it, the 8 x 57 would be pretty cool in all the above, too.

Like KurtC said, I'd like to see the 77RSI offered in this caliber. It's a natural.

I can't find a factory rifle in that caliber I like, so I've got a MR1999 short action on order. With a mag length of 3.15", it's perfect for the X57 case. With a slim 22" Pac-Nor barrel in a walnut stock, and cut with a short throat more conducive to accuracy with the 140-weight bullets, it should be a fantastic little deer rifle.

I wish I had a carbine length South American military 98 in 7x57 [Smile] Or any military gun (98) in 7x57, 7.65 argentine, etc. I'm so jealous of guys who find these at Dunham's / Big 5.

This round is already available in the two best-suited rifles. The Ruger No.1A, and the Dakota No. 10.

I would like to see Sako make more available for the US market European chamberings,i.e., 7x64. 9.3x62, 9.3x64, 6.5 SE, 7x57, 8x57, etc. I know it's all market drive, but I believe that there is a demand to be supplied. [Big Grin]

Ruger RSI, BUT with a 20 or 21 inch barrel, not that 18" stub.

I agree with KevinNY, a Ruger 77RSI with a 20" barrel or a Winchester Model 70 Classic Compact and a 20" barrel.

I'd love to see it in the Remington 7600, and it would probably be good in the 7400 also.

A BLR in this cartridge would be interesting as well.
