I am thinking about buying a Remington Sendero in 7mm Rem Mag. This rifle seems to tick all the boxes on out of the box accuracy and general quality without going to SAKO money and I have extensively searched this forum for comment on the gun and found almost total Thumbs up on it.

My only question about the gun is the HS Stock. I used to have a PSS that had the HS stock, it was a great rifle but I didnt like the grip, it was very short and my pinky finger hung off the bottom all the time and it also had a very pronounced palm swell. Now I have shot a VSSF with the HS Stock on it too and that had a better grip with a slightly more open radius that allowed a better hold, the palm swell was also much less obtrusive. My question is, which type of grip is on the Sendero? I am unable to try one in a shop as Its a special oreder gun in the UK and will take about 8 Weeks to arrive:-(

Any help would be appreciated guys but this is the only thing I dont like about the gun but I think it is a major fault. If I dont get this rifle, I will probably go for a Tikka which apart fron the slightly plastcky stock, does at least have good ergonomics.

The Sendero stock does not have the palm swell and is quite comfortable. I have one on 300SAUM.
The Sendero balances really well with the fluted barrel.
