As much as I love wood on any of my rifles I have to admit some of my hunts have been really tough on my rifles and I am not willing to count new scratches that are always emerging anymore. Thus I would like to have built an all purpose rifle for any weather condition (My calibre choice would 308 Norma Mag. to emulate my 300 H&H). I have made some research and found out that at least McMillan is able to make custom stock on special order. Since I am not an average man (6,5 tall) I need a stock that fits my proportions. A desired length of pull is 15 1/4 inch. I am not willing to solve that situation with additional spacers and extra thick pads which make the stock look rather awful.
For me it is essential that a rifle must fit its owner perfectly to reach its best.

Do you face similar problem?

Do you have any recommendations on some high quality synthetic stock producer?

I have had synthetic stocks lengthened by our own CasII and repainted for about $250 and they look like new. I had one inch decelerator pads installed and the gun looks like a factory synthetic only with a longer length of pull.
You may have a problem with a new stock because I believe the synthetic stock suppliers have a limit they can provide for length and I would think at 15+ inches you are topping out.

I've got the same issue as you, 6'2" with a 14 7/8 LOP. I ironically, have gone back to wood stocks as they are a little classier and look better.

If you want a synthetic stock though, I have always just added a spacer and new pad plus some paint (Krylon fusion is my preference). Most of the synthetics are painted anyway, so adding a spacer and more paint wont change how it looks. Plus, very easy to change colors if you want.

Here is my 375, spacers added, krylon paint.

Didn't like the tan and black web, so went back to black.

And soon it will be going into this (still in progress).
