In some countries, .375 is the legal minimum. Best check with your PH. Proud DRSS member

What's legal varies from one country to the next. There is no one set of "AFRICAN Hunting Regulations". "Bitte, trinks du nicht das Wasser. Dahin haben die Kuhen gesheissen."

Only problems in Tanzania and SA. But even in TZ some PH tolerate the 9,3x64...

Don't concern yourself about tanganyka hunting regulations. They are shutting down hunting in the country. No loss, they were always way , way overpriced. TOMO577 DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

In todays Africa, I doubt you would have any problems turning up with a 9.3x64 for DG. Most PH's know better and most government officials know little about Ballistics and Calibers.

I know at one point, and in some cases, where the limit was 375, some countries made specific exceptions for .366 bullets because the 9.3x62 and 74r used to be so popular. This is also a reason that .400 was not made the limit... 375's were and are so abundant and used in Africa.
