I have been struggling to get velocity from my 20" 7mm08 with 140gr bullets. RL19 seems to slow with even compressed charges not yielding much and Varget seemed to fast with pressure appearing earlier than desired.

N550 seems an extremely good match. It's early days and quite cool but it appears that it works extremely well indeed with 140gr bullets. I've tested up to 47.5gr with sierra 140gr prohunters for 2,825fps and 47gr with nosler 140gr partitions for 2,810fps. Probably come down half a grain to be on the safe side and check with care in warmer weather.
