I previously had a NEF 7mm-08 which I still have and was having some difficulty getting it to shoot accurately. I finally acheived groups of around best, 1 1/2" to average 2" or so. I was getting aggravated and figured I would go for the most accurate I knew of, a Savage. So I bought a Savage 110 in 7mm-08 and mounted my scope this morning. I bore sighted it and went out to shoot. My first one was 3" hi. My second one was 3 inches left. My next 3 shots was right over the orange bullseye on the edge and the group measured 3/4". Thats what I'm talking about! Now thats a group to be proud of. I am so excited and glad. These Savage's really are some good, accurate shooting rifles and Im proud to own one. By the way, that group was shooting factory Rem Core Lokt ammo. Can't wait to get some reloads in there. I am so glad I took the plunge and bought this Savage rifle. Thanks. Brian | ||
