vegard_dino9.3*65R???
Hi all
I am seeking some information on old German caliber´s, and hope some know something about the 9.3*65R? Maybe some have a gun in it, use it for hunting?
All information is good for me.

.366torqueI do believe you have a rimmed 9.3x64 Brenneke.

Stu CHere is a scan of a small brochure I received from the Brenneke a couple of years ago. It may be of some interest. Check the third page for your cartridge.

bpesteveAnother possibility if it is an older (pre-WWII) rifle is that it may be a 9,3x65R Collath. Collath and Teschner/Collath made all sorts of rifles, shotguns and combination guns, often built with the rather odd Collath slide-and-drop barrel system and frequently chambered for their own proprietary cartridges. The 9,3x65R Collath is one of the more common of the Collath rounds..

here!
Do a search on the forums - there's been some discussion about this caliber, albeit very little as it seems to be a little known caliber - as Harald Wolf's article also concludes.
Cases available from
Horneber.

vegard_dinoThanks all for replying and helping me out.
Well, I do not , yet, have a rifle in the caliber. But like to, one day.
Thank you for the link with Harald Wolf. Some great guns he makes!

I would tend to agree here, but would have to see the cartridge or a chamber casting.....
