Hello,

I am looking for rings to fit dovetails on a 22h. They also need to clear the butterknife bolthandle.

Does anyone have any experience with scoping a BRNO 22h?

Thanks for the help,

ddj

I prefer Warne high rings, old style (Premier). Here's a medium set on a ZG47:

Assuming your bolt handle has not been modified you will need high rings for the bolt handle to clear the eyepiece. (the rings on this rifle are not Warnes but are high as you can see)

I noticed these in the AR classified :

A bit pricey, perhaps, but they look like a good setup for a dovetailed Brno 22 if they're high enough. I have no connection to the seller, just FYI.

The least expensive option is to use CZ-550 "high" rings, they fit and work perfectly. I use these on all my Brnos, 3 21/22s and 2 ZGs and have done on the others I have sold off.

People here used to simply grind a divot into the bolt handle, but, that tends to lower the value of these fine rifles, so, I don't suggest it.

I stripped a "beater" as the action was pristine and am going to have Ralf Martini put a new lower bolt handle on as I prefer the lower rings.

Wow, lots of options.
I have a couple of sets on the way. If they don't work I will try the Leupold.

I received a set of Millet rings which fit and work perfectly. I mounted a Leupold 2x7 vari-x II on the rifle and can operate the bolt without any problems.
