It does not hurt when i shoot the gun its just i am a small 14 year old and was wondering if i would catch a scope in the face if i was shooting it laying down or not.

-----Don't Crawl the Stock! --------

- Make sure you have enough eye releif!
- Buy one of the Past shoulder pads that will cover up higher on your shoulder.
- When shooting with a Harris type bipod (especially the type that cant) keep your left hand back far enough that it won't wack your hand in recoil (This can draw blood - I know from experience).
- Make sure to not get it into your collar bone (trust me - this hurts).......DJ

Shooting prone usually hurts a little more because your body doesn't move as much when you shoot. It's about like the difference from shooting standing to shooting off a bench. Shooting Prone is about that much difference worse than shooting off the bench. Whether or not the scope hits your eye depends on your prone form and how you hold the rifle......DJ
