I've heard from two people now that they are getting deadly accuracy from there T3's. I decided to go to the shop and check out the two he had on display.

It was a natural fit right off the go get. It was really light and the trigger was very crisp. The bolt action was smooth. The free float was not touching either side of the fore stock like my other out of the box rifles. The price was nice to. Just over $700 cnd for a accurate rifle. These are the things that impressed me.

Here's what I did'nt like. Too much plastic. Plastic clip, thin plastic stock that sounds loud and hollow. There is even plastic on the bolt that looks like it could be problematic.

Besides those things I think your still getting your moneys worth for a rifle of that kind of accuracy. I think I may buy one for next fall in 25/06. I may shell out the couple of xtra bucks to get one in stainless. I think it would make a great deer rifle and fun to practice with at the range. I wouldnt consider relying on it on a long xpensive trip though just incase any of it's lesser qualities prevail.

The one I was playing with was in 300WSM. If they chamber one in the new 257WSM thats comming out, I may give it consideration.

Plastic Glocks seem to keep working no matter how badly they are treated.

If you don't like the plastic stock, they come with a walnut unit as well.

Why waste money on rifles that need bedding, floating, trigger jobs, etc., etc, to shoot well when you can buy one made right?

So what if it doesn't look like a Mauser?

He didnt have one with a walnut stalk unfortunatly. It adds around a half lbs but still stays under 7lbs on standard magnum calibres.

My browning A-bolt cost $100 more than this T3 and rattles like hell because of the magazine system. I shook this little bugger as hard as I could and it was silent. I like that. One advantage of a plastic clip.

Can't you order one from an American dealer through Gunsamerica.com?

Kesselring's Gun Shop in Washington stocks them, I think.

I'm sure it's not a problem. We have access to all the same stuff as you as far as hunting rifles and accessories go. Where I live is very remote. It took me over an hour to get to this shop. There is a closer shop in 100 mile house but he has a limeted selection. He can order stuff but I wanted some hands on. I also picked up a little stove for my makeshift wall tent.

We have them at the gun shop where I work. They seem like a well made rifle. I haven't gotten one yet, but only because I have other rifles in all the calibers offered! Maybe if they come out with some new chambering I'll be tempted. I haven't heard accuracy results from the people who have bought them.
