I recently picked one of these up, I really like the accuracy.
Mine has the 18.5 inch barrel with no flash hider.
I shot some factory 150 grain blue box Federal into an inch,I then tried some 180 grain handloaded ammo,it shot into an inch as well.
Both weights clustered into a 1 inch group, I couldn't tell the 150's from the 180's.
I bought a polymer magazine for it and will pack the metal one fully loaded in my pocket for quick reloading and so my spare ammo doesn't rattle around.
I really like this little Ruger, this is coming from a dedicated Remington fan.

Try some Sierra Match Kings. I believe you'll like the results.
These little rifles will shoot.

You have a nice rifle there,
I like the Ruger Hawkey , I have a stainless 338win, and a blue 7 mag. Both are great !
A bit of the accuracy you are getting come from the .308 round.
I have 3 rifles in the .308. If you keep your shots within 300 yards, its not often you would need more power in the us...tj.270win
