I have adquired a commercial FN mauser (with the marks of Belgique proof bank) without thumb cut and a number of 1634 and cal 8x60S. May somebody tell me the aproximate date of manufacturing?

The Serial number does not help, but the cartridge was a popular one after WWI. Pics would help. jp
