Does anyone have schematics showing all the dimensions for a 300 RUM? Perhaps one that was in a magazine or one of the new manuals. If so, can you scan it and send it to me? I want to make a reamer for a 338-300 RUM with 45 shoulders and minimal taper. I've based one on a 338 Jamison (believe it or not) and it almost holds the same powder volume as the 338 Lapua. I can't come close to the 338 A-Square or the 338 Excaliber for powder volume. So this is the closest that I can get. Please help. Thanx
Found the info. Check this site out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! www.calweb.com/~haas/ammoguide/ ------------------ Regards, Mark [This message has been edited by PAWildcatter (edited 04-06-2002).]

Contact any of the reamer makers and they will send you a print of the specs.

PAw, I'm reading these specs from the Barnes #3 manual, so you might want to re-check them. Anyway, OAL-2.850", length to shoulder-2.3873", length to bottom of neck-2.544",base-0.534", outside neck diameter-0.344", 30 degree shoulder. Hope this helps. - Dan

Gents, Thanx for the tips and the info. Interesting, www.calweb.com/~haas/ammoguide/ I'm trying to develop a wildcat based on a combo of the 300 RUM and the 338 RUM. What I have is a case that has a .532 rim, a body above the rim at .550 - .5385 at the shoulder, 2.493 to the shoulder, a 45 shoulder, 2.58 to the neck and 2.850 COL. Hmmmm . . . . guess I better get a book and get this straightened out. Thanx again. ------------------ Regards, Mark
