I mentioned this rifle to a buddy of mine, the full stock one, and he likes them. Does anyone out there have one in .270? How does it shoot with factory loads or handloads? Thanks ... Tom Purdom

No experience with one in .270 but I have one in 6.5x55 and it shoots plain Jane Federal factory loads (140gr) very well. My handloads are a bit tighter and faster.

I have a fullstock .270 with a 20" barrel, it's a Mark X though. I really like it, shoots Federal Premium 130gr into less than 3/4" at 100yds. Muzzle velocity is 2900fps, and kills deer real well. A .270 is very loud with a 20" barrel, makes a 7mm rem mag with a 24" sound like a BB gun!
