I have a H.S. Precision Long Action Varmint stock for a remington 700BDL I took out my remington 700 BDL 30/06 and put it back into a wood stock. Will a 700BDL in 338 remington ultra mag. fit into this stock. The person selling me this 338 says it will that they are both long actions . He claimes that the 375 and up would not fit. I want to make sure that the 338 will fit before i puirchase it. Thanks Tanoose

Yeah Tanoose, it will fit as they both have the same bolt length. I measured the ejection port on my son's ADL 30/06 and compared that measurement against the same on my 338RUM and they are both the same.
