I purchased my own reamer which I will send to my smith when he instals a new barrel on my target rifles. This particular type(removable pilot) and make of reamer was suggested to me by my smith who I believe is very knowledgeable in machining and steel. It came in a neat cedar wood case.I now have one for my 308 Wins and one for my 458 Lotts.

I have two of Dave's reamers at hand. Wonderful tools.
Are you actually shooting Palma? If so, my hat is off to you. Wish I had done so when younger.

The Palma bullet used to be the 155 grain bullet; that would be what that reamer is throated for.
