Huntington's now carries RWS brass for the 64mm case, according to a flyer I just got today.

Thanks Ray.

I was thinking along the same lines with the 9.3X62 versus 64 choice. Kind of like the idea of the 9.3X62 and stepping up to 357 or 416 if I want/need to go bigger.

I remember reading you liked a 26" tube on your 9.3. Half the fun is in weighing all the options. The hard part is waiting once the project actuall ystarts and gets going.

Thanks again.

I have built and owned quit a few 9.3x62s and 9.3x64s..I think 8.5 lbs is OK for the 62, but prefer 9 to 9.5 for the 64....

I think I personally like the 9.3x62 better than the 64, mostly because if I go up it will be to the 375 H&H or 416 Rem..I got about 100 to a max of 150 FPS more velocity with my 9.3x64...Not enough to deal with brass shortages of the 64...but it is a grand caliber.

I particularly like a long barrel and throat in the 9.3s, they seem to really like those long tubes..I can make a 9.3x62 give the 9.3x64 and the 375 H&H a horse race with the long tube and long throat..For example a 320 Woodleigh at 2400 FPS plus...A 250 gr. Barnes X at 2700 FPS plus a tad.
